29th of July

On my day i went to pmall with Louise and Gracia

I of course ate takoyaki again and i had my favourite original milk black tea from tea shop

Then we went to stc to meet Eunice, Kathleen, Krystel, and Gio

and watch SDTG (she's dating the gangster) it's a Filipino movie

The 06:50 pm movie was sold out

So we bought tickets for 09:45 pm 

While waiting for the time we went to chill and walk around the stc mall

We even went to a pet store 

It was fun looking at the animals

I want to buy an aquarium and fishes someday

There was a movie line up good thing we're early so the seat we picked wasn't so bad

We had popcorn and i had royal earl grey milk tea

I'm a milk tea lover as you can see

The movie was okay (to be honest i cried) clearly it wasn't like the book 

The book is way more detailed and i cried even more when i was reading

I've read it like 3 times already

That is why i love books i need to buy some soon

It was a well spent day

pre birthday celeb

My ootd (July 27th) mint green tube dress with a short sleeve cardigan paired with my havaianas
My ever sweet aunt Liza prepared all the decorations and balloons i felt special
There was lots of foods
Sadly some of my friends couldn't go but it was okay
Berna fooled me that she could not go to my party bcos she said she has an emergency at her home and i actually believed her! I'll never forget that but it was fun
I was completely fooled, i'm gullible when it comes to Berna i don't know why i always believe her when i know she was joking and bluffing
Anyways, we had a blast
I had my 20 shots of Korean wine it's called soju
Then there was an after party at my place
It was really awesome
I had an amazing summer party i'll never forget
Thank you for the people who made it happen
I love them all words cannot express my gratitude to them
It is really one of my best summer party of the year!
Although for me it's always a best party when i know i enjoyed it

birthday celebration prep

I'll be turning 20 real soon

For brunch, Eunice, Krystel, Kathleen, & i had scrambled eggs, sausage, toasted bread, and improvised kimchi chigae (a Korean dish)

After they went home i did a general cleaning of my place

Then Louise and i went to stc 

I bought my first ever shirt from Aritzia which was a cropped top with NYC printed on it

It was on sale for $9.99 and the original price was $25

I literally stood in front of it debating if i should buy it

I ended up buying it bcos i would probably regret if i didn't

Maybe i'll wear it when i go to New York ~~~

I also bought a basic black tank top from American eagle also for $9.99

Then Eunice had to meet up with us bcos i forgot to get my metropass from her

We went to mcdonalds to wait for Gio bcos he was working

We all went grocery shopping together to buy all the foods and things we need for the Sunday bbq party i'm having for my birthday

It's been a long time since i host a birthday party (3 years to be exact)

We bought a lot i spent also a lot

I used my credit card for the first time

Then we went home to my place and they helped marinate the meat and prepare everything for tomorrow so i'm all set

At 11 pm, we walked to send off each other and all it was nice

I got my phone lens which included a macro lens, a wide angle lens, and a fisheye lens

I bought it in ebay for $10 i believe

I received my polaroid case in blue also from ebay which costed for $7

The only thing i couldn't figure out how to use was the macro lens but i figured it all out now after watching a youtube video on how to use it and so the last picture was an example

It was my laptop's keyboard

When using the macro lens, you have to be really really close to capture the details 

It was a great day

first picnic

The place is a beauty to be honest
People should take really good care of that beach
We arrive in Bluffers park by 10 am to find a good spot (July 25th)
We were lucky bcos my stepdad wasn't working in the morning that was why he got to send us to the beach so we didn't have to work very far
My ootd v neck shirt paired with shorts and toms, just a simple get to go comfy outfit

I grabbed the pictures from Louise bcos she uploaded 'em in facebook
We had tons of fun. We had lots of food
The pork belly was really great marinated and cooked by our good friend, Gio
He is really a true and nicest friend ever
You'll be a real lucky if you have someone like him as a friend
We had Korean lettuce wrap it was so good
We played cards, volleyball, in the water, chat, etc
Kathleen even got injured from playing volleyball, she needs to get an xray soon for that
We had change of plans so we decided to pack and clean up at 6 pm
We walked for 20 minutes going home
It was an uphill battle to tell you the truth (also literally) ~~~
It was a great day. It was memorable
I hope we keep making fun and memorable memories together until we can

running errands

I woke up early to go to my full time nursing campus @ King with my friend Berna

to get our police clearance form so we can enter our clinical placement for the 3rd semester

I was probably 15 minutes late of our meeting time  ~~~

I had to call my bank to activate my credit card so i can use it what i didn't know is that it took so long when i thought it was only going to be quick and easy

After in King campus, we went to the bank to get money order bcos we don't have a certified cheque they don't accept cash or debit

Then we went to Canada post to mail the form and we bought the express bcos we are scared it might get lost plus it is way faster it was only expensive though

We ate some quick snack of Korean streetfoods which were rice cake, sausage, and squid balls

We hang out for a bit in a small area just outside a mall where there was a fountain

Of course i took pictures (photo credits to Berna)

Good news, our New York trip is final

I am really going i'm so happy

It will be my 'rents birthday gift to me (that's what they said)

I could not ask for more

I'm blessed just the way it is right now. I should be contented and not be too greedy

Anyways, Berna has to go to a job interview (she got the job, congratulations!)

So i went to stc mall instead

I ended up going to H&M and bought a $5 little black dress. It's cute and the back part is lace

I say it will do for now, i kinda need it

I also bought two leggings for $7 each

The black one i gave to mom even though i really liked the design and the other one i might just give to my aunt as a thank you gift

It was a long day but it was worth waking up early bcos at least i got to do what i had to do

School is important especially those requirements everyone needs to complete

Again i'm going out tomorrow for a picnic. Looking forward to it for it will be lots fun ~~~

first food challenge

My ootd cropped short sleeved hoodie paired with some jeans, my roshe run, and aldo shades
I went to Eunice's house to film our first food challenge
They already bought the foods but i didn't go with them bcos i had class that day
One of our friend didnt't show up bcos he just woke up when we were about to start filming
Anyway we had fun it was a new experience again
And we hope to continue filming new challenges every now and then

After the food challenge, we went to a park, just behind Eunice's house
We stayed there for almost 3 hours (i think) and we played monopoly
I won the game! (it was a first after how many times we already played) ~~~
We even have a blanket to put on top of the grass and we just sit and lied down
It was really nice bcos it wasn't that hot and there was a breeze (we were under a huge tree)
It was simply a great day
