New York escape

My New York trip is really awesome and simply amazing (August 2nd & 3rd)
It was a long drive but it was okay
The wait at the border between Canada and US is quite long
We didn't go to NYC, New York Times Square, etc
And no i didn't get to buy Jollibee which was what i really wanted
The atmosphere in New York was really different
We were legit late according to the itinerary
We first went to Our Lady Fatima Shrine in Verona, NY
It was beautiful and it was a nice place
It is one of the must visit if you go to NY
Anyway we checked in at La Quinta Inn
Then we went to Turning Stone Resort Hotel and Casino
It was a huge place, there was lots of people checking in bcos it was on weekend
For dinner we had a buffet including drinks not alcohol though
We went to the casino but i didn't play
I only sat in one of the chairs to get the feeling ~~~
Everything in Turning Stone was pretty and appealing
At night we drank some beer called Redd's it was good bcos it has a strawberry flavour to it
We also went to a large and beautiful church that i even forget it's name
It was so awkward and weird spending money in American dollars but it was all worth it
We went to two of their largest outlet malls, Destiny USA and Waterloo Premium outlets
It was so much fun to shop bcos they only have 5% tax unlike in Canada which is 13% tax
Sadly there was a $200 limit if you cross the border to Canada so you have to declare how much you've spent in shopping
I spent like almost $200 so it was a good thing that i didn't go over the limit
I don't know the consequences though if there are even any
It was an unforgettable and memorable experience
Thanks to my 'rents for one of the best birthday gift i've ever received from them
Also thanks to my forever seatmate Berna (and bedmate to in NY) ~~~
It is just hard to explain in words maybe when you see my vlog you'll get what i wanted to say
Anticipate my vlog (bcos i have to edit it first)
It's nice to go away for a trip sometimes, away from everything and just enjoy a day or two without having to worry about anything
And that's what i did
Overall it was a wonderful trip and i enjoyed it very much
